FMGE is your gateway to Indian medicine.

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) administers the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE), also known as the MCI screening test, nationwide twice a year, in June and December. This exam is designed for Indian citizens, including those residing abroad, who have acquired a medical degree from a foreign institution and aim to register provisionally or permanently with the Medical Council of India (MCI). Passing the FMGE allows international medical graduates to obtain licensure for medical practice in India.

Eligibility requirements for FMGE:
– Must hold Indian citizenship, irrespective of current residency.
– Must possess a medical degree authenticated by the Indian Embassy in the country of graduation.
– Must have completed the medical degree before the application deadline.
